Tip
Where particularly high levels of hygiene are required, please select a
temperature of 60 °C or higher.

Tip
Reduce the spin speed for fabric that creases easily.
Delicates
Items
Delicate garments made from synthetic fibre, mixed fibre and viscose
Curtains specified as machine-washable by the manufacturer
Tip
- Dust in curtains usually means that a programme with Pre-wash is
advisable.
- Deselect the spin for items which crease easily.
Woollens
Items
Wool or wool blend fabric
Tip
Reduce the spin speed for fabric that creases easily.
Silks
Items
Silks and other handwashable fabrics with no wool content, e.g.
satin, lace and silk
Tip
Place tights, bras etc. in a laundry bag.
