349KLX ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED)
Assembling the 349KLX Scale (Refer to Figures 1- 4 on pages 8-11)
1. Carefully remove the scale platform and display assembly from the carton, and place the
scale platform and display assembly on a flat, level, and dry surface (see Figure 3 on page 9).
2. Connect the cable to the display assembly RJ jack (see Figures 2 & 3 on pages 8 &9).
3. Remove the display bracket from the carton (see Figure 1 on page 8).
4. Remove the two small screws from plate B (see Figure 1 on page 8).
5. While holding plate A, slide the tab of plate B up and under the center tab on the back of plate
A (see Figure 1 on page 8).
6. Align plate A and plate B, and ensure that the screw holes are lined up (see Figure 1 on page
8).
7. Insert the two small screws into the front of plate A and through the holes in plate B
(see Figure 1 on page 8).
8. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, tighten the screws to secure plate A to plate B
(see Figure 1 on page 8).
9. Slide the two mounting studs on the display bracket into the two mounting holes in the back of
the display assembly (see Figures 1 & 4 on pages 8 & 11). The display bracket is now ready
for use.
