OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Function
ON Powers scale on. Press to Reweigh patient after weight locks.
Powers scale off. Press to Hold the weight measurement after the weight
OFF
locks.
ZERO Zeroes or tares the scale prior to a weighing.
lb. / kg Toggles between pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg).
Weighing a Patient
1. Make sure there is nothing on the weighing platform.
2. Press the ON button to power the scale on.
3. Wait until "0.0" LB or "0.0" KG appears on the display. Press the ZERO button to zero the
scale, if necessary.
4. Assist the patient onto the scale. "LOCK" will appear and flash on the display along with a
weight measurement. When a stable weight is determined "LOCK" will stay displayed along
with the patient's weight. Depending on the movement of the patient on the scale, it may
take several seconds for the scale to lock onto the weight.
Caution: To prevent patient injury, the patient must be attended throughout the entire
weighing event.
- To reweigh the patient without having them step off the scale press the ON button after
the weight locks.
- To hold the locked weight, press the OFF button. To release the held weight press the
OFF button again.
5. After recording the weight, have the patient step off the scale.
6. Press and hold the OFF button to power the scale off.
