e ltis possible to clean the TV screen
using a slightly damp chamois leather.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents.
Fault indictation
IMPORTANT: Never attempt to repair a
broken TV yourself; always consult a
skilled TV service engineer.
If the TV does not give the desired
picture or sound quality after switching
on then check that:
- the aerial is connected properly.
- all controls and buttons are selected
correctly.
- the selected TV station is not
'closed-down'.
- the TV is not incorrectly switched to
EXT 1 or EXT 2.
- the sound is switched on (not
'muted').
switch off the TV if:
- Indications FO, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6,
or F7 are displayed on the screen.
- a bright white line is displayed across
the screen.
