Additional features
To select the program number for
the video recorder signal
@ Press the appropriate digit button
(for the program number on which the
video signal has been stored).
e To return to normal TV operation
press another digit button to select a
TV station.
If the Euroconnector or video/audio
input sockets are used then refer to the
section 'to select the device signal'.
To operate a video recorder using
the remote control handset
(The following information only applies
if your video recorder uses the RC5
system for the remote control
handset.)
e Press and continue to hold the
button located on the side of the
remote control handset before
selecting any of the following functions:
e Press the » button to 'PLAY' the
video cassette.
e Press the O button to 'RECORD' on
the video cassette.
e Press the M button to 'STOP' the
video cassette.
e Press the 4€ button to 'REWIND' the
video cassette.
e Press the >> button to 'FAST
FORWARD?' the video cassette.

[v] To connect other devices
e.g. computer, TV game, LaserVision
player.
(First you must refer to the operating
manual supplied with the device.)
either,
A device with video (CVBS) output can
be connected to the video/audio input
sockets located on the front of the TV.
or,
A device with a Euroconnector can be
connected to the Euroconnector
socket located at the back of the TV (a
support bracket is provided for the
Euroconnector cable on the back of
the TV).
or,
A device can be connected to the TF
socket located at the back of the TV.
e Switch off the TV.
e Connect the device.
To select the device signal
e Switch on the TV.
If the video/audio input sockets are
used then:
e Press the [ 9» button so that the
device signal is received and EXT 1 is
displayed on the screen.
If the Euroconnector is used then the
device signal is available in either EXT 1
or EXT 2 mode:
e Press the (<> button so that EXT 1
is displayed on the screen.
or,
e Press the C} button again so that
EXT 2 is displayed on the screen.
e To return to normal TV operation
press the (_) button.
note: Certain devices connected to the
Euroconnector socket will
automatically switch the TV to receive
the external signal.
If the qr socket is used then the signal
must be stored on a program number
before it can be selected (refer to the
section 'to store the video recorder
signal on a program number').
