OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for household use only.
The appearance of this appliance may differ from the illustration.
Only use this appliance for its intended purpose as described in this manual.
Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
CERAMIC TOURMALINE TECHNOLOGY
Helps to reduce static and frizz and enhances shine for silky-smooth results.
TRIPLE CERAMIC TOURMALINE COATING
Triple ceramic coating helps reduce damage from over-styling with even heat
distribution, making styling fast and easy.
HEAT AND SPEED CONTROL
High temperatures and speed settings are ideal for fast drying or rough drying
before styling; low temperatures and speed settings are ideal for styling and
use on extensions.
OVERHEATING CUT-OFF
This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that will cycle OFF (0) should
the heat of the dryer exceed the optimum drying level, due to partially blocked
air inlet or outlet openings. In the event that the appliance stops, turn the
appliance OFF (0) and allow it to cool down. Once the appliance cools, the
thermostat will automatically reset and usage may resume.
COLD SHOT BUTTON
Once the desired style is achieved, push the cold shot button ( ) to set the
style with a flow of cold air.
HOW TO USE YOUR STYLE TWIST DRYER
1. Comb out hair gently, separate into manageable sections and clip.
2. Take a small portion of hair at the roots with a brush and aim the nozzle at it.
3. Pull the brush and dryer slowly downward, keeping the hair taut.
4. Repeat until section is dry, then repeat steps 2 and 3 with another section.
5. When hair is dry, use the Cool Shot button to seal the cuticle for more shine
and smoothness.
ROTATING THE DUAL POSITION HEAD
The dryer head can be rotated between two positions, in a vertical (up/down
position) and in a horizontal (side-to-side position).
Rotating it between the two positions:
1. Before rotating, slide the lock button to unlock it.
• When in the vertical position, twist the dryer head counterclockwise
to make it horizontal.
• When in the horizontal position, twist the dryer head clockwise to make
it vertical.
2. After rotating, slide the lock button to keep it in place.
CURL-ENHANCING DIFFUSER
The diffuser will soften the air flow to give you voluminous, defined curls.
To attach it, hold the diffuser at the top of the dryer nozzle, line up the vertical
threads on the diffuser with the ones on the nozzle and slide it down into place.
Take a small section of hair and place it on the fingers of the diffuser. Move it
gently at the roots while drying, then repeat with additional sections until hair
is dry.
STYLING
Always towel-dry hair before using a hairdryer. Set the dryer on a high heat/
speed setting and circulate airflow through the hair. Do not concentrate airflow
on any one area for a long period of time. As soon as hair is almost completely
dry, lower the heat/speed setting and use a styling brush to shape the hair.
REMOVABLE END CAP
• Clean the end cap at least once every three months.
• To remove the end cap, make sure unit is unplugged, then turn the end cap
counterclockwise and pull it away from the dryer.
• Dust off the end cap.
• The end cap may be washed and must be dried completely before returning
to the dryer.
• To replace the end cap, align the tabs of the end cap with the indentations
inside the back grill of the hair dryer, then turn clockwise until it locks.
HANGING RING
This dryer features a ring allowing it to be conveniently hung on a hook for
easy access.
CLEANING
Always unplug the appliance from the mains after use and allow it to cool
before cleaning. Wipe the outer surface of the dryer with a slightly moist
cloth, then wipe dry.
To clean the diffuser, remove it from the dryer and wash it in warm, soapy
water and rinse. Allow diffuser to dry completely before reattaching it to the
dryer.
STORAGE
Always unplug when not in use.
Allow the appliance to cool before storing.
Always store in a dry location. Do not pull or twist the cord.
Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause
the cord to wear prematurely and break. Regularly check the
power cord for wear and damage (particularly where it enters
the appliance and the plug).
