SUPERVISION
5.1
Supervision of the Scalance XC206-2SFP-MM/-SM
Fault conditions detected by the Scalance XC206-2SFP-MM/-SM are relayed to the configured
Management Station (Desigo CC/Cerberus DMS or NCC) through Simple Network Management Protocol
(SNMP).
Refer to the Scalance XC206-2SFP-MM Multimode and XC206-2SFP-SM Single Mode Ethernet Fiber
Switch Installation Instructions, Document ID A6V12198161, for details on configuring the SNMP
monitoring.
5.2
Supervision of the PAD-4 and Battery
Fault conditions detected by the PAD-4 (power, ground fault, and battery) are monitored through
connection of an HTRI-D/-S or XTRI-D/-S or equivalent monitored by the FACP. Any UL-listed fire system
dry contact may be used for the contact monitoring.
Refer to the PAD-4 Manual, P/N 315-050217, for details on the installation of the PAD-4 in the Enclosure.
