Introduction

2.1 Product Overview

The FLIR TG Series IR Spot Thermometers quickly and safely capture non-
contact surface temperature measurements. The high distance-to-spot ratio
makes it possible to measure relatively small targets from a distance, in areas
difficult or unsafe to reach.
The TG56–2 includes a Type K thermocouple input for contact temperature
measurements. Comparing contact measurements with non-contact meas-
urements allows for precise emissivity settings.
The vivid color display makes it easy to view readings, function icons, and me-
nus. The bright worklight and laser pointer allow for precise targeting and
working in dimly lit areas.
The TG Series can log up to 99 readings manually and 99 readings automati-
cally. The high/low alarm triggers when temperature measurements exceed
programmed limits.
