10 • Bluetooth features

Introduction

Your mobile phone integrates the Bluetooth™ technology that
allows you to use other Bluetooth wireless devices (e.g., headset,
PC or PDA, car kit, etc.) and make your calls or transfer data
between your mobile and another device through a radio link
instead of a cable.

Ericsson, Sweden and licensed to Philips.
To fully benefit from the services available via Bluetooth (send
and receive SMS, e-mail and fax, upload pictures in your phone,
phonebook synchronization, GPRS Wizard, etc.), you must
install Mobile Phone Tools on your PC. This software
application is available on the CD-Rom shipped with your
phone.

The software supplied on the CD-Rom is not compatible with

2000 and XP .

Technical information

Before using the Bluetooth feature, you should check that the external device or
accessory to be used with your mobile phone supports one of the following
profiles:

Bluetooth certificates are mandatory according to each device and Bluetooth
version supported is 1.1 in all cases. For detailed information concerning PC
connectivity and to perform Data Connect operations via Bluetooth, refer to the
