Automatic stop
This unit employs full release automatic stop at the end of the tape.
CASSETTE DECK OPERATION
Recording
a) Recording from a microphone
Set the POWER switch to the ''on"' position.
Press the ""TAPE" function selector.
Press the EJECT button and insert a cassette.
Set the DOLBY NR switch to "on" or "'off'' as desired.
Press the PAUSE button. The pause indicator will light up.
Reset the counter to '000'.
SOUND meters illuminate within "0 dB" (Fig. 16).
NOTE:
* This unit cannot be possible stereo live recording.

b) Recording from the tuner or a turntable

Make sure that the MIC MIX VOLume control is set to the minimum position.
1. Set the POWER switch to the "on" position.
2. Press the "TAPE" function selector.

3. Press the EJECT button and insert the recorded cassette.
4. Set the tape select switch for the type of tape being used.
5. Set the DOLBY
NR switch to "'on" or "off", according to whether the tape has been recorded with the
Dolby NR System or not.
. Press the PLAY button. The play indicator will light up.
. Adjust the VOLume,
BASS, TREble and BALance controls to the desired sound level and tone quality.
