GENERATOR SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE ( SINGLE UNIT )
NORMAL SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
WARNING
NEVER stop the engine suddenly except in an
emergency.
1. Place the load's ON/OFF switch in the OFF position.
2. Place the GFCI and auxiliary circuit breakers
(Figure 73) in the OFF position.

3. Press the Main Circuit Breaker OFF button
(Figure 74) on the touch display.

4. Verify that the Main Circuit Breaker OFF lamp
(Figure 75) is illuminated (RED). This indicates that
the circuit breaker contacts are open.

5. Press the STOP button (Figure 76) on the touch
display. The engine will stop after a 30-second
cool-down period.

6. Place the Control Power switch (Figure 77) in the
OFF (down) position.

7. Wait at least two minutes to allow the DEF system
to regenerate, then place the Battery switch (if
equipped) in the OFF position. See Figure 78.
