  • Page 10 your comfort. our world. What is Madoka? The Modaka is available in 3 colours, White, Silver & Black. All 3 models are functionally identical and are provided with a separate surface mount backbox, Installation & Operation manual, raw plugs & mounting screws.
  • Page 11 your comfort. our world. Compatibility The Madoka is compatible with all units fitted with P1/P2 controller connections:- VRV fan coil units since K series R22. HRV (VAM) units F series. SkyAir fan coil units. Split fan coil units (those fitted with P1/P2 connections).

    your comfort. our world. Installation Although the Madoka is compact (85x85mm), care must be taken whilst positioning the control to allow for cable routing. There are four possible options:- Rear, Top, Bottom & Left.

Ensure that the correct specification of cable is employed, that the outer sheath of the cable is removed and that only the 2 inner cables pass through the mounting box.

Installation The 2 separate cores can then be wired into the screw terminals located on the back of the controller – N.B. the P1/P2 wiring is NOT polarity sensitive. The controller can then be closed by mounting the top of the controller on the 2 tabs located on the mounting plate.

This indicates that the remote controller is starting in ’master’ mode. This is the factory default and is normal where only one P1/P2 device is connected into the indoor unit.
