Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble setting up your connections, make
sure:
• Your outlets are working properly. Unplug the PLA-470 and
plug in another electrical appliance that you know works.
• The Ethernet cables you are using are category 5 or higher.
Most cables are labeled with their specifications.
• All Ethernet cables are securely connected.
If the LED is off.
• Try plugging a second powerline adapter into an adjacent
power outlet (to the PLA-470) and see if the
up.
• Make sure that all your powerline adapters are HomePlug
AV compliant. The PLA-470 does NOT recognize or commu-
nicate with earlier versions of HomePlug adapters such as
HomePlug 1.0 or 1.0.1.
