Do not use on these parts of the body:
U
Areas where you have metal braces or a metal implant. Consult your physician if you are in
any doubt.
U
Near the thorax, the Galvanic current may increase the risk of cardiac fibrillation.
U
On tanned skin. Refer to section 3.3 Exposure to the sun.
U
Around or near the eyes. Use below the cheekbones.
U
On the mouth, on the front of the neck (especially the carotid sinus), or from electrodes
placed on the chest and the upper back or crossing over the heart.
U
On tattoos or permanent makeup, dark brown or black spots, (such as large freckles, moles,
or warts), nipples, genitals, around the anus, or lips.
U
Areas with injected fillers or toxins.
U
A part of the body that has a history of herpes outbreaks.
U
Skin that has active eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds or infections (cold sores),
abnormal skin conditions caused by systemic or metabolic diseases (diabetes for example).
U
Areas that are prone to rosacea.
U
On varicose veins.
U
Areas that are painful.
U
Areas where you may want hair to grow later. The results are long-lasting.

Additional warnings
U
Select the energy setting carefully. When the energy intensity is increased, hair removal
improves, but the risk of side effects and complications increases.
U
Follow the hair and skin color chart when selecting energy levels to avoid the risk of burns,
blisters or changes in skin color (see the chart at the front of the manual).
U
Always do a spot test before you treat a specific part of your body.
U
Do not treat the same area of skin more than once per hair removal session.
U
Avoid overlapping pulses or gaps when you treat an area.
U
Use a lower energy level if you experience mild discomfort.
U
Do not expose treated areas to the sun, and do not use energy levels 2-5 on tanned skin or
after recent sun exposure (including artificial tanning machines). Refer to section 4.9 How
to treat if you have been in the sun.
U
Stop use immediately if you see full redness of the skin, blistering or burns.
U
Stop use immediately if you have any pain.
U
Stop use immediately if the skin or the device becomes too hot.
