Searching for the beginning of a track
if there is a 4 second or longer blank between tracks, you can search for
the beginning of a track easily during playback (music sensor).
To return to the beginning of the current track
Press the REW button during playback.
To listen to the next track
Press the F FWD button during playback.
Note
The following tapes may cause a malfunction on the music sensor.
© A tape with a blank of less than 4 seconds,
¢ A tape with a noisy blank
e A tape of low recording level
¢ A tape with a long blank
¢ A tape with long low-level sections
© A tape of low precision or low price
Skipping a biank
When a blank segment continues for 12 seconds or longer, the deck
automatically goes into the fast winding mode so that the beginning o'
the next track is played back.
However, when the REV MODE switch is set toxD, the tape automatically
stops after the tape is fast wound to the end of the reverse side.
To skip a blank, set the BLANK SKIP switch on the inside of the lid to ON.
To cancel the skip mode, set the BLANK SKIP switch to OFF.
