Battery replacement
Batteries need replacement when:
the "FULL" lamp of the OPE/BATT indicator turns off and the "MID"
lamp lights up during playback, tape speed slows down, volume
decreases, sound becomes distorted, playback or reverse function fails,
the unit does not operate.

Use the optional AC adaptor only. Playback is possible while the

¢ Use only the AIWA PB-S5 rechargeable battery.
© Do not charge for more than 24 hours. Overcharging shortens battery
life.
