DISASSEMBLY
REMOVE CLOSURE PLATE, OIL
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE, AND
REAR OIL SEAL
1, Remove the hex. flange screws, closure plate,
and gasket. Refer to Figure 9-28.

SPLIT THE CRANKCASE
1. Scribe a line across the camshaft bore plug and
the #1 crankcase side. This line Is used to align
the plug on reassembly.
