Circle and Arc Calculations
Remember to press
This calculator can solve for Circle and/or Arc equations with the input of any* two of the following
variables: Arc Length, Arc Angle, Diameter, Radius, Chord Length / Run, or Segment Rise / Rise.
*Exceptions are that Circle/Arc calculations cannot be made using either of these two combinations of variables:
Arc Length and Chord Length / Run
Arc Length and Segment Rise / Rise
AREA & CIRCUMFERENCE - USING DIAMETER
Example: A circle has a diameter of 12 Inches. Calcuate its area and circumference.

ARC LENGTH - USING RADIUS & ARC ANGLE
Example: A circle has a radius* of 4 Feet. Calculate the arc length of a 75° portion of the circle.
* radius of a circle = 1/2 the diameter

ARC LENGTH & RADIUS - USING CHORD LENGTH & SEGMENT RISE
Example: A segment of a circle has a cord lenghth of 4 Feet 8 Inches and and rise of 2 Feet 6 Inches.
Calculate the radius and arc values (angle and length).
