Hybrid System
With the hybrid system, a motor assists the engine at acceleration to enhance throttle
response and power performance.
Speed
a Starting to move
The engine is assisted for
up to approximately 4
seconds* according to
the amount of throttle
opening.
*Assist activation, assist output volume, and activation time differ depending on conditions such as amount of
throttle opening, engine speed, and battery for hybrid system status. Assist may be restricted to protect the
system. Also, assist time is set so maximum torque continues for approximately 3 seconds from assist start,
slowly decreasing afterwards for approximately 1 second.
