Operation
SAFETY NOTE: Prior to shredding, be sure to REMOVE INTERNAL BATTERIES
from mobile phones and tablets.
Turn on power switch. Follow the instructions below for the media to be shredded.
NOTE: for larger media like tablets and mobile phones, feed only one at a time.
Operator Maintenance
• Disconnect power by pulling power cord plug from wall outlet.
• To clean the exterior, wipe the surface with a soft cloth. If the surface is very dirty, use
a neutral detergent, then wipe again with a soft cloth.
CAUTION:
• Never put water directly on the surface of the shredder.
• Never clean the case with benzene or thinner, since it will cause discoloration.
• Do not dismantle the shredder. Contact your Formax Dealer for service.
Mobile Phone / SSD / SD Card / USB Drive
• Press START. Slide open continuous
operation infeed door, insert media and
close door.
• Feed one at a time and allow it to finish
shredding. Repeat for additional media.
• The shredding blades will continue to
operate without pressing START again.
Small Tablet / Large Mobile Phone
• Open main infeed door, insert media and
close the door.
• Press START. Feed one at a time and
allow it to finish shredding before adding
additional media. Note: Shredding blades
will stop once the door is opened.
• Repeat steps for additional media.
CD, DVD, Blu-ray Disc
• With the main infeed door closed, press
START.
• Insert media through the slot. Repeat for
additional media. The shredding blades
will continue to operate as long as the door
is closed.
