Be sure to turn OFF the pow-
CAUTION
er switch before removing or
attaching the needle.
1. Attach both of two needles. (It is the standard state of
the sewing machine.)
2. Set the stitch changeover knob to "A".
3. Thread the upper and lower loopers and the right and
left needles. (Refer to pages 25 to 28)
4. Adjust the stitch length adjustment dial in accordance
with the type of the fabric to be sewn. (Standard 2.5)
(Refer to page 17)
5. Adjust the cutting width adjusting dial in accordance
with the type of the fabric to be sewn. (Refer to page
17)
Correctly finished stitches
1. Upper looper thread (blue).
2. Lower looper thread (red).
3. Right-hand needle thread (green).
4. Left-hand needle thread (beige).
Perfect stitch formation is when both looper threads meet
at the fabric edge. The needle threads form straight stitch-
es for a stretchy and durable seam.
