Automatic Head Cleaning System
This TV/VCR has a video head cleaning system built-in. This system auto-
matically cleans the heads when a cassette is inserted or ejected to pre-
vent dirt from accumulating.
Head Cleaning may be necessary if the playback picture is of poor quality
while the image recorded was of good quality. Using tapes that are dam-
aged or are of poor quality can cause the heads to become dirty and
require them to be cleaned. If the heads need to be cleaned use a high-

quality head cleaning system or have the heads cleaned professionally.
The video heads are the means by which the TV/VCR reads the picture
from the tape during playback. In the unlikely event that the heads
become dirty enough to become clogged, no picture will be seen. If you
play a tape and the sound is good but the picture is snowy, the heads
may be clogged.
Have the TV/VCR repaired / serviced by a qualified technician.
