Chapter 2 : Overview
The GNSS is based on GNSS IC, which comprises GNSS in a single chip QFN40 or QFN28. The
GNSS consists of the Front Filter that transfers the GNSS signal from the antenna to the IC.
NOTE:
QFN40 for PMLE5298A, PMLE5307A, PMLE5345A, PMLE5346A-BSI and PMLE5347A
QFN28 for PMLE5345B, PMLE5346B, and PMLE5347B
The IC receives a 19.5 MHz or 26 MHz reference frequency from the TCXO.
NOTE:
19.5 MHz for PMLE5298A, PMLE5307A, PMLE5345A, PMLE5346A-BSI and PMLE5347A
26 MHz for PMLE5345B, PMLE5346B, and PMLE5347B
The purpose is to pull high signal of UBX Enable from Dual Core Processor and enable the GNSS
operation.
