When you press and hold an

(Uppershift) key:
• The alphabetic characters
(A
through
Z)
are entered as
uppercase letters.
• The special characters identified on the tops of the numeric
and symbol keys can be entered.
• The function control keys perform the function shown on the
top half of the key.
• The command function keys perform the function shown on
the top row of the keyboard template (Display Mode, 13
through
24,
and Clear).

(Shift Lock) key:
• The keyboard locks in uppershift.
• The alphabetic characters (A through Z) are entered as
uppercase letters.
• The special characters identified on the tops of the numeric
and symbol keys can be entered.
• The function control keys perform the function shown on the
top half of the key.
• The command function keys perform the function shown on
the bottom row of the keyboard template (1 through 12 and
Test Request).
You can return the keyboard to lowershift by pressing and
releasing either of the Uppershift keys.
