SKEW BOARDS
1. Align the skew boards (I, J), skew board brackets (L),
and the curtain frame plates (M), on a flat surface as
shown in Fig. 10. NOTE: SKEW BOARDS (I) SHOULD
BE ATTACHED OPPOSITE OF EACH OTHER. SKEW
BOARDS (I) ARE THE BOARDS WITH TWO HOLES
DRILLED IN THEM FOR ATTACHING THE BOARD
SUPPORT (FOR MODEL 50-885 ONLY).
2. Attach 4 skew board brackets (L), to the bottom of
skew boards (I) & (J). Insert a 1/4-20x5/8" flange screw
through the hole in the skew board bracket and skew
board, and thread a 1/4-20 flange nut onto the 1/4-
20x5/8" flange screw and tighten securely. Repeat this
process for the remaining two bottom holes in the skew
board brackets and the skew boards, as shown in Figs.
11 and 12. NOTE: ONLY FASTEN SKEW BOARD
BRACKETS TO THE SKEW BOARDS WITH THE TWO
BOTTOM HOLES IN BOTH THE BRACKET AND
BOARD, THE TOP HOLES WILL BE USED LATER.
3. Attach the curtain frame plates (M) Fig. 14, to one of
the skew boards (I) Fig. 13, in holes A & B. Insert a 1/4-
20x5/8" flange screw through the curtain frame plate (M)
Fig. 14, and skew board and thread a 1/4-20 flange nut
onto the screw and tighten securely. Repeat this process
for the three remaining holes in the two curtain frame
plates and skew board as shown in Fig. 14. NOTE:
INSERT A HEX FLANGE SCREW THROUGH THE
FOUR REMAINING HOLES OPPOSITE THE SKEW
BOARD THAT THE CURTAIN FRAME PLATES WERE
ATTACHED TO, AND THREAD A 1/4-20 FLANGE NUT
ONTO THE HEX FLANGE SCREWS AND TIGHTEN
SECURELY.
