Touch screen The Vortex Mixer screen reacts to touch. Fig. 3 Touch screen Speed setting Start / Stop Time setting Settings The touch screen is used to start and stop the Vortex Mixer, and also to set the speed and timer. Other settings such as the brightness of the touch screen or the sleep mode can be adjusted in the settings menu. If the sleep mode is activated, the touch screen will turn off. The touch screen can be reactivated by touching it or applying pressure on the base plate. -

Operation Removing and mounting the standard attachment or adapters NOTICE For safety reasons, the Vortex Mixer must be switched off when changing the standard attachment or adapters. If the adapter for 1.5/2.0 ml tubes or the adapter for microplates is attached while the Vortex Mixer is on, you will hear a beep to alert you. The Vortex Mixer will stop if an attempt to remove an adapter is made during operation. To mount the standard attachment, pull it over the base plate. Always ensure the attachment is on properly and sitting over the base plate on all sides before use. To remove the standard attachment pull it off the base plate. To mount the adapter for 1.5/2.0 ml tubes or the adapter for microplates, ensure you have the adapter in the correct orientation, with the two notches at the back and the lever to the right. Setting speed and time In pre-set mode, different options for speed and time can be chosen with one touch. The speed pre-sets shown will depend on whether the standard attachment or an adapter is installed (see section 2.4). In custom mode, the speed and time can be adjusted. Beladen des Adapters für 1,5 / 2,0 ml Gefäße Laden Sie den Adapter für 1,5/2,0 ml bis zu maximal 15 Röhrchen mit je 3,0 g. Bei einer nicht Vollbeladung sicherstellen, dass die Gefäße gleichmäßig über den Adapter verteilt sind. Touchscreen Der Bildschirm des Vortex Mixers reagiert auf Berührung. Abb. 3 Touch screen Drehzahleinstellung Start/Stopp Zeiteinstellung Einstellungen Über den Touchscreen kann der Vortex Mixer gestartet und gestoppt werden sowie die Drehzahl und der Timer eingestellt werden. Andere Einstellungen wie die Helligkeit des Touchscreens oder der Ruhemodus können im Einstellungsmenü vorgenommen werden. Wenn der Ruhemodus aktiviert wird, schaltet sich der Touchscreen aus. Der Touchscreen kann durch Berührung oder Druck auf die Grundplatte wieder aktiviert werden. Alle Einstellungen können geändert werden, während der Vortex Mixer in Betrieb ist. -

Betrieb Entfernen und Anbringen des Standardaufsatzes oder der Adapter HINWEIS Aus Sicherheitsgründen muss der Vortex Mixer beim Wechseln des Standardaufsatzes oder der Adapter ausgeschaltet sein. Wenn der Adapter für 1,5 / 2,0 ml Gefäße oder der Adapter für Mikrotestplatten bei eingeschaltetem Vortex Mixer angebracht wird, ertönt ein Warnton. Wenn während des Betriebs versucht wird, einen Adapter zu entfernen, stoppt der Vortex Mixer. Den Standardaufsatz zum Anbringen über die Grundplatte ziehen. Vor dem Gebrauch immer sicherstellen, dass der Aufsatz richtig aufgesetzt ist und an allen Seiten über der Grundplatte sitzt. Den Standardaufsatz zum Entfernen von der Grundplatte abziehen. Um den Adapter für 1,5 /2,0 ml Gefäße oder den Adapter für Mikrotestplatten anzubringen, sicherstellen, dass der Adapter richtig ausgerichtet ist, d. h., die beiden Kerben befinden sich auf der Rückseite und der Hebel auf der rechten Seite. Fonctionnement Démontage et montage du support standard ou des adaptateurs IMPORTANT Pour des raisons de sécurité, l’agitateur vortex doit être éteint lors du remplacement du support standard ou des adaptateurs. Si l’adaptateur pour tubes de 1,5/2,0 ml ou l’adaptateur pour microplaques est fixé alors que l’agitateur vortex est en marche, vous entendrez un bip pour vous en avertir. L’agitateur vortex s’arrête lorsque l’on tente de retirer un adaptateur en cours de fonctionnement. Pour monter le support standard, le tirer par-dessus le support de montage. S’assurer toujours que le support est correctement fixé et qu’il repose sur tous les côtés du support de montage avant de l’utiliser. Pour retirer le support standard, le tirer hors dua support de montage. Pour monter l’adaptateur pour tubes de 1,5/2,0 ml ou l’adaptateur pour microplaques, veiller à ce que l’adaptateur soit orienté correctement, avec les deux encoches vers l’arrière et le levier vers la droite. Positionner d’abord le côté gauche contre le support de montage, puis le bloquer en position en appuyant sur le côté droit. Pour retirer les adaptateurs, les soulever à l’aide de la languette de déverrouillage située sur le côté droit des adaptateurs. Installer Retirer Fig. -

Réglage de la vitesse et de la durée En mode préréglage, différentes options de vitesse et de durée peuvent être sélectionnées d’une simple pression. Les préréglages de vitesse indiqués sont différents selon si c’est le support standard ou un adaptateur qui est installé (voir section 2.4). En mode personnalisé, la vitesse et la durée peuvent être ajustées. REMARQUE : les réglages de la vitesse et de la durée ne sont pas sauvegardés. Les réglages peuvent être modifiés lorsque l’agitateur vortex est en fonctionnement Une fois réglées, la vitesse et la durée sont visibles sur l’écran d’accueil. -

Démarrage et arrêt de l’agitateur vortex Une fois mis en marche, l’agitateur vortex ne doit pas être déplacé. Ne pas heurter l’agitateur vortex lorsqu’il est en fonctionnement. L’agitateur vortex a deux modes de fonctionnement : tactile et continu. En mode tactile › L’agitateur vortex commence à bouger lorsqu’une pression suffisante est appliquée au centre du support standard › Si le temps est réglé sur sans fin, la minuterie compte à rebours › Si une durée est programmée, l’agitateur vortex s’arrêtera une fois la durée atteinte › L’agitateur vortex s’arrête également de bouger lorsque de la pression est retirée du centre du support standard En mode continu ›... -

Nettoyage Vérifier et nettoyer régulièrement le boîtier de l’agitateur vortex ainsi que les accessoires et l’écran tactile. Fig. 3 Touch screen Impostazione della velocità Avvio / arresto Impostazione della durata Impostazioni Tramite il touchscreen si avvia e si arresta Vortex Mixer ed è anche possibile impostare la velocità e il timer. Altre impostazioni come la luminosità del touchscreen o la modalità di sospensione possono essere regolate nel menu delle impostazioni. Se è attivata la modalità di sospensione, il touchscreen si spegne. Il touchscreen può essere riattivato toccandolo o applicando pressione sulla piastra base. -

Funzionamento Rimozione e montaggio dell’accessorio standard o degli adattatori IMPORTANTE Per ragioni di sicurezza, Vortex Mixer deve essere spento quando si cambia l’accessorio standard o gli adattatori. Se l’adattatore per provette da 1,5/2,0 ml o l’adattatore per micropiastre viene fissato quando Vortex Mixer è acceso, si udirà un segnale acustico di avvertimento. Vortex Mixer si arresta se si cerca di rimuovere un adattatore durante il funzionamento. Per montare l’accessorio standard, inserirlo sopra la piastra base. Prima dell’uso, assicurarsi sempre che l’accessorio sia posizionato correttamente e poggi con tutti i lati sulla piastra base. Per togliere l’accessorio standard, staccarlo dalla piastra base. Per montare l’adattatore per provette da 1,5/2,0 ml o l’adattatore per micropiastre, accertarsi che sia allineato correttamente, con i due dentelli sul retro e la leva sulla destra. I valori predefiniti della velocità a disposizione dipendono dall’installazione o meno dell’accessorio standard o di un adattatore (vedere paragrafo 2.4). Avvio e arresto di Vortex Mixer Una volta avviato, Vortex Mixer non deve essere spostato. Non urtare Vortex Mixer durante il funzionamento. Vortex Mixer presenta due modalità di funzionamento: touch e continua.
