⋅ Please read all safety instruc-
tions and observe, properly store
and pass on to subsequent own-
ers this operation manual.
⋅ Keep the operating instructions
carefully and pass them on to the
subsequent owner if necessary.
⋅ Connect the device only to alter-
nating current with 220-240 volt
mains voltage.
⋅ Never immerse the device in water.
For cleaning, only wipe with a
damp cloth. Be sure to disconnect
the power plug before cleaning.
⋅ Never disconnect the power plug
from the socket by pulling on the
power cord.
⋅ Do not use the device in the imme-
diate vicinity of bathtubs, swim-
ming pools, showers or wash basins
filled with water. If a device should
fall into the water, it is forbidden to
take it out as long as it is connected
to the power circuit. Immediately
disconnect the power plug.
⋅ Never leave the device in operation
without supervision.
⋅ Switch off the device after each
use and disconnect the power plug.
⋅ This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concer-
ning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards
involved. Children must not play

⋅ The device and its connecting cable
must be kept away from children.
⋅ Do not place the device near a heat
source. Do not expose the power
cord to direct heat (such as hot
stove top, open flames, hot ironing

stability when working and that
the power cord does not become
a "trip wire".
⋅ Use the device only in the household
and for its intended purpose.
⋅ Repairs and interventions on the
unit or on the power cord may only
be carried out by Coop Service.
⋅ To avoid any danger, do not ope-
rate a defective device. If the
mains plug, the mains cable or the
housing is defective or the unit has
fallen down or been damaged in
any other way, please hand it over
immediately to Coop Service via
your Coop sales outlet for repair or
follow-up inspection.
⋅ Disconnect the power cord to ren-
der the device unusable and take it
to your Coop sales outlet for con-
trolled disposal.
⋅ Place the toaster on a heat-
resistant surface. Do not place the
appliance in a corner or against
a wall. Remove easily flammable
objects from the vicinity of the
appliance.
