Corrective Action
1. Check for tripped breaker, restore power
2. Check voltage at terminal block (~208-240V)
1. Check connection on main board to display
2. Check if display connection has power
3. If power from mainboard connection is available, replace display board
1. Understand cause of TCO activation
2. Reset TCO
Replace failed board
1. Check for tripped breaker, restore power
2. Check voltage at terminal block (~208-240V)
3. Check if display has power, if not see above
1. Check operation mode on display for VACATION
2. Change to desired mode
1. Error code is displayed
2.Check error code table and follow corrective actions
1. Check current temperature on display
2. Change operation to mode with higher recovery rate, refer to section "Selecting Operation Mode"
Check for plumbing issues (e.g. crossover, bad mixing valve, etc.)
Select mode with higher recovery rate
Raise setpoint, refer to section "Water Temperature Setting"
Check if DR is activated, refer to section "Demand Response"
1. Stagger hot water usage
2. Check with your installer
Lower setpoint
Check for plumbing issues (e.g. crossover, bad mixing valve, etc.)
Check for plumbing issues (e.g. closed cold water supply valve)
Consider using an alumnium anode rod (part number: 7738007481 for 50 Gallon, 7738007482
for 80 Gallon)
1. Verify drain valve is fully closed
2. Replace if it still leaks
1. Check for leaks
2. Tighten connections
3. Replace if necessary
1. Check for leak at T&P valve
2. Replace T&P valve
Inspect tank for leakage, and replace whole unit if necessary
