Audio Level Adjustment
Adjust the audio recording level of CH1 and/or CH2.
When adjusting the audio CH2 level, set the CH2 METER
Selector to "CH2", and adjust the recording level.

1) Set the Audio Limiter Selector to "OFF", in the ON-
SCREEN mode. (When initially adjusting audio levels.)

2) Adjust the recording level so that the Audio Level Meter
needle rarely deflects beyond 0 using the Audio Level
Control.

@Normally set the Audio Limiter Selector to "ON".
Note:
The Audio Limiter Selector controls both channels simul-
taneously.
If you wish to monitor the audio during recording, connect the
headphone to the Headphone Jack and set the Audio Monitor
Output Channel Selector to the desired position.

Note:
When using the audio Output Jacks CH1/CH2, audio signals
are not affected by the Audio Monitor Output Channel! Selector
setting.
Press the Record and Play Buttons simultaneously when you
wish to start recording.

The recorder will go into the recording mode.
Note:
If Record and Play Buttons are pressed simultaneously when a
tape with broken removable tabs inserted, the unit will go into
playback mode.
