TAPE IN MODE Selector
Press the DOWN Button. The "TAPE IN MODE" line indication
will flash. Press the DATA
Button to select the mode.

The indication will change

TAPE END MODE Selector
This selector is to select the VTR function mode at the tape
end.
Selectable from stop mode, eject mode, automatic rewind and
automatic rewind then eject mode.

Automatic Back Space Selector
This Auto Back space function is very convenient for use with
video cameras
which have remote pause capabilities. The
automatic backspace function is operational when
"ON" is
selected.
When
the
Pause/Still
Button
is pushed
during
recording, the tape is rewound slightly and set to the pause
mode. When the Pause/Still Button is released, recording is
made over the previous signals while the tape advances.
