    ATOM 2 MT-FU404SV Calota Desarrollada por MT HELMETS en base a la nueva y revolucionaria tecnología de ABS. Dos tallas de calota para optimizar el peso, el ajuste y el confort. Sistema de ventilación Dos entradas de aire en la parte frontal del casco fuerzan la entrada de aire frío y permite una excelente evacuación del aire caliente por la parte trasera.
  • Page 6 Ajuste Para una seguridad máxima, es vital que su casco MT HELMETS encaje en su cabeza, estando la correa de retención correctamente y firmemente ajustada. Con la barbilla firmemente sujetada, agarre la parte posterior del casco con ambas manos e intente rodar el casco hacia adelante.

Pase el extremo de la correa dentro del mecanismo micrométrico. Arrastre la correa hasta que esté bien ajustada y colocada firme sobre la barbilla.

  • Page 11 Español Atom 2 SV Desmontaje del protector cubrebarbilla Desatornille con una llave allen el tornillo situado debajo del protector cubrebarbilla. Desatornille los cuatro tornillos para retirar el protector de plástico y así poder desacoplar el protector cubrebarbilla. Instalación de las almohadillas laterales Pase la correa por la abertura de la almohadilla al nivel de la mejilla.

    Atom 2 SV Español Abatir la mentonera Presione el gatillo localizado en la parte inferior frontal de la mentonera. Mientras mantiene apretando dicho gatillo, levante la mentonera hasta el punto más elevado. Cerrar la mentonera Baje la mentonera hasta que oiga que gatillo inferior haga clic.

    Español Atom 2 SV Funcionamiento de la pantalla La visera del modelo tiene la característica de cerrarse con un sellado anti entrada de aire óptimo. Esta característica es posible gracias al botón frontal que bloquea la pantalla. Pulsa el botón frontal para desbloquear la visera del sellado óptimo y así poder subir la visera.

Desatornille el mecanismo de sujeción de la pantalla con una llave allen para que quede totalmente liberada. Montar la pantalla Alinee la pantalla con la posición de montaje y atornillela con una llave allen.

Alojamiento para intercomunicador . Compatible con UCS*. Extracción de los tornillos de la tapa para poder quitar y poder introducir en el alo- jamiento los sistemas UCS.

    Español Mantenimiento Ningún componente de su casco MT HELMETS puede ser dañado por el agua. Lávelo con un detergente suave en agua tibia y déjelo secar al aire libre. Se recomienda lavar a mano. No coloque piezas de revestimiento en la secadora: el exceso de calor puede da- ñar la espuma y los revestimientos.

Ventilation System The helmet features two air intakes located at the front, which enable the influx of cool air, while the warm air is effectively let out through its rear.
  • Page 20 For maximum safety, it is vital that your MT HELMETS helmet fits properly on your head, with the retention strap correctly and securely fastened. Keep your chin firmly in place, grasp the back of the helmet with both hands and try to roll the helmet forward.
  • Page 21 Not only is it unsafe, it is also illegal in many countries. Never use a shield/visor that is scratched or wet with condensation. MT Helmets shields are supplied with an anti-scratch treatment. Ventilation System Ventilation systems are designed and engineered to maximize your comfort in a wide range of temperatures.

    Atom 2 SV English Retention System Once the chinstrap is opened, you need to take both sections of the strap and keep them slightly separated in order to facilitate the passage of your head. When performing this movement, it is recommended to keep the two sections of the strap away from your thumbs so that they are properly positioned.
  • Page 23 English Atom 2 SV How to adjust the micrometric closure system The micrometric closure allows for easy and precise adjustment of the chinstrap length. Pass the end of the strap into the micrometric mechanism. Drag the strap until it is snug and firmly positioned on the chin.
  • Page 24 Atom 2 SV English Removing the side pads There are 3 snaps that hold the side pads in place Gently lift the side pad away from the shell in order to release the snaps. Grasp the side pad from its centre and gently pull on the chinstrap.
  • Page 25 English Atom 2 SV Chin Guard Removal Use an Allen key to unscrew the bolt located beneath the chin guard. Unscrew the four screws to remove the plastic protector, thereby enabling the detachment of the chin guard. Installing the side pads Pass the strap through the opening of the pad at cheek level.

    Atom 2 SV English Opening the Chin Bar Press the trigger located at the lower front part of the chin bar. While holding down this trigger, lift the chin bar to its highest point. Closing the Chin Bar Lower the chin bar until you hear the lower trigger click.

    English Atom 2 SV Shield/Visor operation The shield closes with an optimal airtight seal. This feature is enabled by the front button that locks the screen. Push the front button to release the shield from its sealed position allowing it to be raised.
  • Page 28 Atom 2 SV English Disassembling the Shield/Visor Lift the shield to its highest raised position. Unscrew the shield’s fastening mecha- nism using an Allen key to completely release it. Assembling the Shield/Visor Align the shield with the mounting position and screw it in using an Allen key.
  • Page 29 English Atom 2 SV Sun Visor Removal Activate the sun visor and raise the clear screen. Press from inside outwards firmly to remove the sun visor. Installing the Sun Visor Ensure that the sun visor mechanism is in the correct position.

    Atom 2 SV English Operation of the front air inlets Slide down the air intake lock mechanism to activate the incoming airflow. Slide it upwards until you hear a click, to deactivate the incoming airflow. Operation of the upper air inlets Slide backwards the air intake lock mechanism to activate the incoming airflow.
  • Page 31 English Atom 2 SV Spoiler Removal Unscrew the two Allen key No. 2 screws to release the spoiler. Push to detach it from the helmet. Intercom Housing. Compatible with UCS*. Remove the screws from the cover in order to remove it and insert UCS systems into the housing.

    Atom 2 SV English Maintenance No component of your helmet can be damaged by water. Wash it with a mild detergent in lukewarm water and let it air dry. It is recommended to wash by hand. Do not place liner parts in the dryer: excess heat can damage the foam and liners. The shield can be cleaned with mild soap and water.
