Security Indicator
The security indicator blinks when the removable face plate is removed from the unit. (See Fig. 4 on the
previous page.)
Activate Security Indicator
1. @ Press and hold [SEL] for more than 2 seconds to change to the display control mode when the power
is on.
@ Press [SEL] during the display control mode to change to the security indicator mode. (See page 21.)
@ Press [/\TUNE] or [\/ TUNE] to turn the security indicator on or off. (LED On or OFF)
(Default: The security indicator is on.)
Note: "LED On" appears on the display when the security indicator is on.
2. To check whether the unit is set in the LED On mode, make sure that the security indicator blinks when
the removable face plate is removed.

Note: In the display control mode, the display will be back to the previous mode with no operation for more
than 5 seconds.

This alarm sounds to warn you not to forget to remove the panel before leaving your car. This function is acti-
vated when the security indicator is on.
