7 ON LINE BOARD AUTO_TEST AND OTHER TESTS
Reconnect the nominal power supply voltage (230Vac +/- 5% – 50Hz) between the pins
PZ1 and PZ2.
Await a split second.
Connect a source of regulated DC voltage (3,4 – 5,0 V dc) to TP11 (SER_IN input) with
respect CGND
Await about five seconds (until RED led is on) for the Board Auto-test (Note 1).
Proceed with the following tests:
Board RED Led. Verify the red Led is OFF (TP30 > 2.4Vdc)
Board GREEN Led. Verify the green Led is ON (TP31 < 0,80Vdc)
Fan Status (Full speed). Verify the TP7 voltage (≤ 0,30Vdc)
Serial Bus Opto-Interface. Verify the TP29 voltage (4,50 – 5,15 V dc)
Line_ALR Output. Verify the TP14 voltage with respect CGND (Low Logic Level ≤
0,40 V dc)
V_OUT Output (Inverter OFF). Verify the TP18 voltage with respect CGND (0,79 –
0,99 V dc)
VHV Output (Inverter OFF). Verify the X1-25 (or X1-26) voltage with respect CGND
(16,0 – 19,0Vdc) (Note 2)
TH_ALR Output. Verify the TP15 voltage with respect CGND (Low Logic Level ≤
0,40 V dc)
Remove the source of regulated DC voltage from TP11 (or put it equal to 0.0 V dc).
Note 1: If after the board auto-test the red led is flashing, suspend the procedure and
check for the corresponding error code on the "Error Code Table" at the end of this
document.
Note 2: In the following of the procedure, VHV Output will reach voltages up to 80V. If
required, protect the input of the acquisition unit!
