1 . Connect a d igita l voltmeter between TP802
a nd TP803.

2 . Record i n the TU N E R mode, adjust R809
for 5 .28 ± 0 .05 V .

1 . Connect an oscil loscope to V I D EO OUT or
TP1 0 of the main board.
2. Play back the stairstep segment of M H- 1 a l ignment
tape.
3. Trigger the osc i l loscope externa l l y (- slope} with
the signal from TP4 1 1 ( D R U M F F ) .
4. Adjust R 445 to position the trigger point 6.5 ±
0.5H from V. sync.

1 . Set the tracking control of the F R ONT to the
pre-set position by simu ltaneously pressing the +
and - track ing buttons.
2 . R ecord a color bar signal in "the SP mode, then play
back in the Slow mode.
3 . Adjust R 472 to m i nim ize noise bars i n the monitor
TV d isplay.
