Introduction The MIC-300A is a standard enclosure available in 3U or 4U sizes for CompactPCI® Serial applications. It comes in two widths, either 84HP or 44HP, and includes an 8- slot CPCI-S backplane. The backplane also features an integrated 2-slot power adapter board, which supports both AC and DC power inputs.

2.3.3 Replacing the Fan The MIC-300A-S1S1 chassis is equipped with 12 fans located both on the top and bottom sides of the enclosure. These fans are distributed across the system slot, fat pipe slot, and power supply slot. Removing a fan is not advisable without first turning off the system power or interrupting system operation.

The MIC-300A-S1S4 chassis comes with a built-in pull-out fan tray that initially con- tains 2 fans, positioned on the bottom side of the enclosure. We advise against removing these fans without first turning off the system power or interrupting system operation for safety and proper maintenance.
