In case of difficulty
lf your unit should not perform as expected, consult the table below to see if the problem can be corrected before seeking
help from your dealer or service representative.
Symptom
Causa
No power, no sound.
No sound from left and right.
Sound from left or right, but not both.

to both A and B speaker terminals. Or,
swiich the Speaker Selector to the A or
B position to which the speakers are
connected.
Replace the batteries with new ones.

Notes:
Another possible effect of a very weak
signal.
Consider an outdoor antenna installa-
tion. In areas remote from the transmit-
ter,
a5 to 8 element antenna designed
exclusively for FM is suggested.
Review antenna installation. Site the an-
tenna as far from the street as possible
and use coaxial cable.
Antenna system needs attention (See
above).
® As this system uses microcomputers, it ls open to interference from external noise, and may sometimes not function properly. In such
a case, unplug the power cord once, and then plug it in again.

Do not use contact cleaner because it could cause a malfunction. Be specially careful against contact cleaners containing oil, for they
may deform the plastic components.
