Troubleshooting
Operational Issue
The oven burner flame lifts off of the burner.
The oven cooks food unevenly, and/or food
burns on the bottom.
The flames are under the top of the main oven
burner.
The oven does not cook to temperature.
The flames have yellow tips.
The ignition system fails to function.
The cooktop is warped or blistered.
There is a constant gas smell present.
The range rattles.

Potential Reason
The burner is blocked.
The gas pressure is too high.
There is poor oven ventilation.
There is a problem with the oven thermostat.
The thermal bulb is out of position.
The oven door seal is not sealing properly.
The oven burner is loose.
The burner tube is not lined up with the burner.
There is a problem with the oven thermostat.
The thermocouple is not functioning.
There is an installation issue.
The gas system is leaky, damaged, or non-functioning.
The burner is blocked.
The air/gas mixture is incorrect.
The gas pressure is too low.
The orifice to burner alignment is off.
The Piezo or ignitor is defective.
There is a faulty wire (D21 only).
The burner is blocked.
The gas pressure is too low.
The cooktop is damaged.
There is an installation issue.
The flex line is leaky or damaged (R31/S31 models only).
There is a leak in the manifold system.
The burner box is loose.
Grommets are missing from the range top.
The manifold brackets are loose (R31/S31 models only).
