Action Based On Status
Check to see if the pilot is too close to the
thermocouple. If the pilot is too close, the
burner extinguishes the flame when cycling.
Confirm the control knob is fully engaging with
the coil to set the magnet in the thermostat:
1.
Push the control knob in at the "pilot /push/
hold" setting.
2. Continue holding the control knob in and
manually light the pilot.
3. After approximately 5 seconds, the
thermocouple input should hold the magnet
in the open position.
4. Release the control knob and attempt to
adjust the knob to a desired temperature.
The pilot gas line will remain open as long as the
pilot is lighted and the thermocouple senses
flame. If the pilot goes out, the magnet will drop
out and shut off gas flow to the pilot.
If damage is observed, replace the component (visit
www.eDometic.com for service kit information and
www.dometic.com for installation details).
Realign the thermal bulb.
Check the oven flue (vent).
Check the oven thermostat.
If damage is observed, replace the component (visit
www.eDometic.com for service kit information and
www.dometic.com for installation details).
Confirm that the thermal bulb is responding to the
thermostat.
Make sure the thermostat knob is not bottoming
out on the manifold cover.
Perform a millivolt test using a volt meter to verify
the voltage is between 16–21 mV.
If damage is observed, replace the component (visit
www.eDometic.com for service kit information and
www.dometic.com for installation details).
