6. Operation

6.1 Trigger lever (Fig. 1/Item 1)
The trigger lever (1) can be used in addition for
infi nitely adjustable control of the cartridge speed
and therefore its feed. The further you push the
trigger lever (1), the faster the piston rod speed.
Switching on:
Press the trigger lever (1).
Switching off :
Release the trigger lever (1).
6.2 Setting the speed (Fig. 9)
The feed speed can be set by turning the speed
controller (5). Turn the wheel in "+" direction for a
higher speed. Turn the wheel in "-" direction for a
lower speed.
6.3 Note on drip guard function
This tool comes with a drip guard function, i.e.
subsequent dripping of the sealant is prevented
by the piston rod being retracted slightly, thus re-
leasing the pressure in the cartridge.
6.4 Working with the cordless sealing gun
Preparing the surfaces to be sealed
The surface to be sealed must be prepared by re-
moving any dirt, grease or residues of old sealant
that might be on it. The area to be sealed must be
clean and dry.
Note:
It is recommended to apply a thread of silicone on
a piece of paper or cardboard in order to test the
sealant quantity and the set speed.
Check whether the cartridge holder (6) is pro-
perly screwed in place (section 5.2).
Check whether the cartridge is properly inser-
ted (section 5.3).
Check whether the tip of the cartridge nozzle
has been cut off and/or that it is not clogged.
Set the speed setting wheel (section 6.2) to
setting 1.
The tool is now ready for operation.
Press the trigger lever (1) to eject sealant.
NOTE:
If the sealant thread is too narrow you must cut
the tip of the cartridge nozzle so that a little more
sealant is applied.

ant has contact with both surfaces to be joined.
Use a joint smoothing trowel or your fi nger to
carefully press the sealant into the corners or to
fi ll any cracks.
When the cartridge is empty, the motor will switch
off automatically.
7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
Hazard!
Always pull out the battery pack before starting
any cleaning work.
7.1 Cleaning
Clean the piston and the cartridge holder
each time after use. The sealant must be re-
moved before it becomes hard. If any sealant
or adhesive remains on the piston rod, this
might cause the piston rod to block.
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it with compressed air at low
pressure.
Clean the equipment regularly with a moist
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-
tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-
re that no water can seep into the device. The
ingress of water into an electric tool increases
the risk of an electric shock.
7.2 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance.
