3-3-4 Test lasing and Run mode operation

To irradiate the laser by the screen operation, operate the laser welding machine in test lasing or run mode operation.
„ Test lasing procedure
Test lasing executes the laser radiation manually with the selected file.
1.
Set laser power, scanning speed and other
parameters.
2.
Turn ON the laser supply switch on the
controller to start laser pumping.
3.
Click "TEST".
Test lasing is available on the following screen.
• Home
• Drawings
• File option
• File

The confirmation dialog box will appear. To start lasing, click "OK".
• If the message "Lasing pause was detected." appears after the test lasing, change Data compile mode to Precompiled in
File option menu.
• When executing the processing time measurement before the test lasing, you can know the possibility of Lasing pause
warning preliminarily.
„ RUN mode procedure
Run mode is an operation method to configure the settings of the laser welding machine by manual screen operation and to
control the lasing start signal from the external devices such as switches or sensors connected to I/O terminal.
1.
Set the screen mode to "Run" and select any
of the following screens:
• Operation monitor
• I/O monitor
2.
Turn ON the laser supply switch on the
controller to start laser pumping.
3.
Click "START".
Under the RUN mode operation, the laser welding
machine is in the standby status for the lasing start
signal from I/O terminal X6: TRIGGER IN.
4.
Laser radiation starts by turning on TRIGGER IN (X6)
on the I/O terminal.
Connect a switch or sensor to X6: TRIGGER IN on the I/O
terminal as the input method of the lasing start signal (trigger).
