8. DIP switch
Sets the operational options of the laser welding machine.
Refer to "1-6-3 DIP switch" (P.38).
• A plastic cover is installed on the DIP switch. Install this cover always to avoid the dust penetration to the controller.
9. AC power supply terminal: AC INPUT
Terminal for connecting AC power supply.
90V to 132V AC or 180V to 264V AC (including +/-10% voltage fluctuations), 50/60Hz (voltage and frequency are
switched automatically)
Be sure to connect the ground pin of the AC power cable to earth permanently.
• The AC power cable is not included in this product. Use the specified optional cable or a cable with the enough rating
capacity to fulfil the power voltage specification of this product, which is compliant with the regulations and standards in
the country or region where it is used. For the optional cables, refer to "1-5-4 Cables" (P.29).
10. Protective conductor terminal
This is the terminal for ground. Ground this terminal to the earth permanently.
11. Fuse holder: FUSE 10A
Rotate and remove holder for replacing the fuse on fusing.
For details, refer to "7-2-11 Replacement of fuse" (P.151).
12. Fiber cable
Laser transmission cable from the controller to the head. This cable cannot be detached from the controller.
13. Power connector: POWER
This is the connector for supplying the power to the head. Connect the attached unit power cable.
14. I/O connector: I/O
The connector to connect I/O signals used for the external control of the laser welding machine.
For details, refer to "4-2-2 Signals and details of I/O connector" (P.93).
15. I/O terminal block (Output): OUTPUT
16. I/O terminal block (Input): INPUT
The terminal block to connect I/O signals used for the external control of the laser welding machine.
Connect the attached terminal block.
Refer to "4-2-1 Signals and details of I/O terminal block" (P.86) for details.
17. Clamp
This is the clamp for fixing the AC power cable.
18. Controller air-cooling fan (outlet)
The air-cooling fan for the controller.
19. Interlock connector: INTERLOCK1
20. Interlock connector: INTERLOCK2
Use these interlock signals to construct the interlock system to stop laser radiation.
Using both Interlock 1 , 2 and a safety relay unit, the safety designed system with the double-circuit of the interlock
can be constructed.
Refer to "4-4 Interlock Connector" (P.104).
