    CR5000 Coin Recycler Type D Validator Module Installation Procedures To convert units from Euro currency to Czech support, replace the existing Type B Validator Module with a Type D Validator Module by doing the following procedures: • Removing the Validator Module on the facing page.

Turn the Service screw, located behind the Validator on the CR5000 Coin Recycler Chassis, clockwise at approximately ¼...
  • Page 7 CR5000 Coin Recycler Type D Validator Module 3. Slide up and then lift the existing Validator module as shown below. Ensure that the connector and cable are not strained. Warning: The validator is connected to the chassis using a short-length cable with a non-latching connector end.

For more information, refer to Removing the Validator Module on page 3. 2. Connect the cable to the Validator connector. 3.
  • Page 9 CR5000 Coin Recycler Type D Validator Module 4. Turn the Service screw, located behind the Validator on the CR5000 Coin Recycler Chassis, counterclockwise at approximately ¼ turn to secure the Validator Module in place. The screw locks in this position.
  • Page 10 6. Turn on the 7360 (R6-C) unit. The ADD/CADD window is displayed, showing available devices. Note: The NCR FastLane SelfServ(TM) Checkout application automatically runs and installs all available devices. If the new or replaced device is not listed in the ADD/CADD window, an error message is displayed.
