    Safety Instructions IMPORTANT WARNINGS! Do not place any tall objects on the top shelf of the SXR Audio Stand. A tall object is any object with a height that is greater than the length of the HRS Isolation Base. A tall object is also any object that has a height greater than its own width or length.

    Unpacking Assembly Hardware - Remove all the contents from all the boxes marked with SXR model number. Place all the hardware on a table adjacent to your selected work surface and remove all the wrapping material. Be careful not to drop or allow the anodized aluminum parts to contact each other as they may scratch the surface.
  • Page 5 Place one of these Support Braces with Caps upside down on your work surface, with its threads facing up (photo 1). Insert an SXR Cross Brace into the area below the countersunk holes on the Support Brace as in photo 1. The four countersunk holes of the Support Brace should line up with the four threaded holes of the Cross Brace.
  • Page 6 Apply 3 drops of the WD-40 3-in-1 oil to the top few threads of each of the six caps (photo 5). Photo 5 If you are assembling an SXR-1V (one-high stand or amp stand), skip ahead to step 10. Steps 5-9 are required to install Struts and subsequent layers of the SXR.
  • Page 7 Step 5 . Identify which six Struts are the correct size for this level of the SXR. Keep in mind that the SXR is being assembled upside-down, so the first layer assembled is the top level. The Struts will provide component spacing equal to 5.5 inches less than their total length (including threads).

  • Page 9 (photo 11). Finally, lubricate the threads with 3 drops of WD40 3-in-1 oil. Photo 11 If your SXR includes another layer, repeat steps 5 to 9 for each remaining layer. Step 10. After the final layer of the SXR has been added to the stand assembly, thread a Locking Nut onto each of the exposed threads as shown in photo 12.
  • Page 10 (photo 13). Tighten the Locking Nuts about a turn past where they contact the Polymer Ring to achieve proper torque. Proper torque on these Locking Nuts is critical for the SXR to achieve maximum stiffness and performance. Photo 13 Step 12.
  • Page 11 Assembly of the SXR Audio Stand is now complete. Carefully lift and flip the SXR upright and move it to the desired final location for use in your system. Depending on the size of your audio stand, this may require multiple people. Make sure to orient the audio stand system so that the front face with the HRS logo(s) faces forward.

  • Page 13 HRS Isolation Base is in line with the front and back face of the frame. If the front and back edges do not line up with the front and back of the SXR, contact Harmonic Resolution Systems or your local authorized HRS dealer.
  • Page 14 Loading Components into SXR Frame - Carefully load each component into the SXR Audio Stand. Be careful not to hit the front edges of the HRS Isolation Bases, as you may damage them. Once all the components are loaded, check to see that none of the HRS Isolation Bases are overloaded.

    Care and Maintenance The SXR Audio Stand is a very low maintenance item that will provide many years of trouble-free performance by applying these basic care instructions. Clean the external surfaces of the SXR Audio Stand frame using a professional quality ultra-soft lint-free micro-fiber cloth available in high quality automotive stores.
