7. Switch Setting
Check/modify the detail setting by following instructions below. Factory-setting is as follows.
To connect to HUB, set the IP address that has no duplication on the same network for Central Station EX.
< Checking IP Address >
1. Connect HUB and PC before connecting Central Station EX to HUB.
2. On the screen of the PC, click [Start] - [Settings] - [Network and Internet] - [Ethernet] - [Related Settings] -
[Change the location of the adapter] - [Network Connection] - [Local Area Connection] - [Properties] - [Internet
protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4)] - [Properties] (*). Then, change the IP address of the PC as follows: the
lower two-digit number of the IP address of the PC differs from that of the IP address of this unit.
(Example: If the IP address of this unit is 192.168.0.23, change the IP address of the PC to, for
example, 192.168.0.30.)
3. After pressing the [Windows] + [R] keys on the PC, when you click and enter [Run...] - [Name] - [cmd],
the command prompt will start.
4. Enter "ping [IP address that is to be set for Central Station EX]" and press [Enter] key on keyboard.
(Example: "ping [192.168.0.24 (any address that has no duplication on the system)]
5. If the window shows "Request timed out", then the IP address is not being used on the network and can
be used for Central Station EX.
If the request does not time out, the address is already used and cannot be used for Central Station EX.

system (OS).
< Procedure >
1. Remove the back cover and set 2 and 5 pins on DSW3 as ON. (Programming mode)
2. Turn the power ON.
3. Wait until 7-segment LED shows "1".
4. Press [UP] or [DOWN] button to check that 7-segment LED shows as follows. Set 7-segment LED as "4"
to change IP address.
