Ensure power to Central Station EX is turned OFF. Wiring Work 1. Ensure that the power line and the power on connecting devices are all turned OFF before performing any wiring work.

On the wire between Central Station EX and external device, the maximum current from Central Station EX is 10mA. Pulse width and pulse interval need to be 90 ms or longer for use with pulse input.

    7. Switch Setting Check/modify the detail setting by following instructions below. Factory-setting is as follows. To connect to HUB, set the IP address that has no duplication on the same network for Central Station EX. Table 7.1 Factory-Setting (Initial Setting)

    *: “0c0” indicating checking connection will turn to “000” as making transition to normal operation state. If Central Station EX failed to detect all air conditioners detected on the initial connection check, after recovery from power failure, for example, 7-segment LED will indicate “000” for 3 minutes and then show “00E” to indicate communication failure with air conditioners.

    (1) Turn ON the power for all air conditioners on the system. (2) Ensure the power switches SW1 and SW2 on Central Station EX are set as ON and then turn the power ON. Power indicator on Central Station EX is ON. After a minute, the start-up window is shown and connection check starts.

    (3) Date and time setting In this section, set the date and time to use on Central Station EX. Tap [˄] or [˅] to set date and time for Central Station EX. Tap [→] to show daylight saving time setting window.
  • Page 23 (6) Setting restart schedule Select a day of the week to perform restart. Set as Central Station EX to restart at least once a week. Set [˄] or [˅] to set time to restart. Tap [ ] to confi rm setting and to return to network registration window.

    When setting change is made on the monitor window, the contents stay displayed (locked) for a certain period of time. This display lock expires when the units’ states detected on Central Station EX match the actual operation states of the air conditioners. During this period, operations made on the remote controller are not affected on the monitor window.
