4. Address setup
Automatic address setup
Only if the address of all indoor units in the same system is not set, the following address will be set
automatically.
• Refrigerant line (system) address (Indoor unit code[12]) ... The line address of the indoor units are
automatically set to the same number as the line address set in both SW101 and 102 of the outdoor
Header unit I/F board.
• Indoor address (Indoor unit code[13]) Indoor address automatically set in order from one.
• Group address (Indoor unit code[14]) The group addresses (individual = 0, header = 1, follower = 2)
are automatically set for the indoor units group connected by remote controller.
Open the access door cover and follow the steps below to set the address.
REQUIREMENT
• High voltage parts exist in the electrical control box.
If you set addresses on an outdoor unit, operate the unit through the access door as shown in the
illustration below to avoid electric shock. Do not remove the cover of electrical control box.
* After finishing operations, close the access door cover and fix it with the screw.

Turn on indoor units first, and then turn on outdoor units.

About 1 minute after turning the power on, confirm that the 7-segment display on the
interface P.C. board of the header outdoor unit indicates
alternately at 1 second intervals.

Push SW06 for more than 1 second to start the automatic address setting.
(It may take up to 10 minutes (normally about 5 minutes) to complete one line's setting.)

The 7-segment display indicates
The setting is complete when the display changes to
U. 1. - - - (U. 1. light)

Repeat steps 2 to 4 for other refrigerant lines.

Set the central control address.
(For the setting of the central control address, refer to the installation manuals of the central control
devices.)
