Inserting the batteries
Only use rechargeable batteries since otherwise major health risks and injury may
result. For example, the outer casing of the batteries could be damaged beyond
repair or the batteries could explode. The device could also malfunction or be
damaged as a result of using batteries that are not of the recommended type.
Insert the batteries
(for correct +/- direction,
see diagram).
Charging the batteries
Charge the batteries fully prior to first use in the
charging cradle.
The batteries are fully charged when the power
icon
disappears from the display.
Batteries can heat up during the charge process. This is not dangerous.
Over time, the charging capacity of the batteries will decrease for technical reasons.
Switch the handset off if you are not using it for a couple of days.
If you are not using the handset for a couple of weeks, switch it off and remove the
batteries.
Fit the battery cover from
the top.
Press the cover down and
slide upwards until it clicks
into place.
Setting up the handset for use
To re-open the battery cover:
Press the top of the cover
with your finger and slide it
downwards.
