Choice of place
Basic requirements
Installing the unit in the following environments can cause malfunctions:

Environments with the following issues: heat source, explosive or flammable gas sources, in
corrosive or excessively dusty environments.

Environments where there are electromagnetic wave emissions.
-
Environments where there is brackish air.
-
Environments where there are oils or fumes.
-
Acid environments.
-
Environments not habitable in safety.
-
Laundries
Outdoor unit
Choose an installation location where the noise and air flow in the outlet are not disturbing for
−
neighbors.
The chosen location should be ventilated and dry, and where the outdoor unit is not directly
−
exposed to sunlight and strong wind.
−
The location must be able to easily and safely support the weight of the outdoor unit.
−
Make sure that the installation follows the requirements of the dimensional diagram.
−
Choose a place where the unit is out of the reach of children, away from animals and plants. If it
cannot be avoided, add a fence to comply with safety regulations.
Safety precautions

The electrical safety regulation must be respected when installing the unit.
-
A suitable power supply circuit must be used, in accordance with the current safety regulation.

Make sure that the power connections meet the conditioner requirements. Unstable power or
incorrect wiring can cause malfunctions. Install a proper power circuit before using the air
conditioner.

Connect the phase, neutral and earth cables correctly.
-
Make sure that the power supply is disconnected before proceeding with work related to electricity
or safety

Do not power the circuit before finishing the installation.

If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified personnel in order to avoid risks.

If the refrigerant circuit temperature is too high, keep the interconnection cables away from the
copper pipes
-
The equipment should be installed in accordance with the national electrical wiring regulation
-
Installation must be performed in accordance with NEC and CEC requirements only by authorized
personnel
Earthing requirements
