CORRECTION
The QUICK
ERASE feature allows you to correct
one word at a time. Like Automatic Correction, this
feature works
only in the correction memory.

Using the BACK SPACE
Key: or FWD. Key; move
the Carriage or cursor to
the last character of the
word to be erased.
elf you have pressed the
Space Bar after typing
an incorrect word, make
sure to press the BACK.

Press the QUICK ERASE
Key.
The word will be erased.
Type the correct word.
Press the RELOC Key to
move the Carriage or cur-
sor to the end of the line.
By pressing the QUICK
ERASE Key when
the
Carriage or cursor is in the middle of a word, the
characters to the left of the current position will be
corrected,

TPWR Mode
When an error is noticed after the RETURN Key has
been pressed, Manual Correction must be used to
delete error.

Turn the platen to posi-
tion the Carriage on the
line whére the correction
is to be made.
2 Using the BACK SPACE
Key or FWD Key, move
the Carriage to the posi-
tion of the character to be
corrected.

Press the &] Key and
then the key of the char-
acter to be deleted, the
respective character will
be deleted.

Type the correct charac-
ter.

Move the Carriage to the
position of the last charac-
ter which was
typed to
continue typing.
Half Space
CODE
+
Press the H Key while pressing
the CODE Key to move the
Carriage a half space.
This function is used to insert a
character into a word when
you have already typed past it.
