3. Installation and basic adjustments

3.1.

Usage location

 Never install or use the equipment in areas where in any way water can come in contact with the
fat or oil. Do not direct water jets onto the equipment!
 Choose a stable and leveled surface to place the deep fryer on. The equipment must be in a firm
position so that fat or oil can't spill over.
 Keep the deep fryer away from inflammable or heat-sensitive materials. The deep fryer must be
placed on a surface of non-inflammable, heat-resistant material.
3.2.

Unpacking

Before using the deep fryer for the first time, remove all plastic protections. Dispose safely of the plastic
wrapping as they are potentially dangerous. Clean any leftovers of adhesive with alcohol or a non-abrasive
detergent. Clean the exterior of the deep fryer with a soft humid cloth.
3.3.

Electric installation

 Make sure that the rating on the data plate corresponds to the voltage and frequency of the power
supply.
 Make sure the mains electric supply has a 30mA protection and a circuit breaker with 3 mm space
between the contacts.

4. Operating instructions

 Never operate the equipment with wet hands!
 Constantly control the quality of the fat or oil!
 Never fry with the cover on top of the vat and never cover the fat or oil unless it is completely cold.
 Leave sufficient space around the deep fryer to make the filling and emptying easy.
 Never cover the container while the deep fryer is working!
 The surrounding fllor and adjacent walls can become slippery!
4.1.

Filling the vat with fat or oil

 Do not use solid fat.
 Only use fat or oil with prime quality!
 Never fill the deep fryer with used fat or oil! Used fat or oil reduces the ignition temperature of the
fat and oil. Danger of fire!
Fill the container with fat or oil up to a level between the minimum and maximum points.
4.2.

Switching on and temperature regulation

 The deep fryer needs approximately 10 minutes to reach the maximum temperature.
4.2.1.
MODELS FF 6 NV/ FF 6+6 NV AND FF 10 NV/ FF 10+10 NV
1. Connect the equipment to the energy source.
2. Fill the vat with fat or oil (see 3.3.)
3. Turn the temperature regulator to the desired position. The orange signal lamp switches on in order
to indicate that the deep fryer is heating. The signal lamp automatically switches off when the fat or
oil reach the selected temperature

1. Connect the equipment to the energy source.
